Coaching and Mentoring Supervision Programme

At the British School of Coaching, we believe that all progressive Coaches benefit from supervision, in order to evaluate their effectiveness and measure their impact on maximising an individuals potential.

However, despite industry-wide consensus on its value, supervision is currently undertaken by less than 50% of Coaches.  This award, which is internationally recognised and endorsed by ILM, aims to help Coaches through external, peer and self-assessment of their skills and style.

With the coaching industry guidelines and regulations becoming more stringent, this will give clients of supervised coaches the confidence to invest more readily in their services as a valuable business tool.

This programme includes

* Introduction to the programme and supervision
* Intensive taught sessions
* Two sessions of supervised practice and a further 2 telephone sessions
* Research time for a written assignment
* Action learning time
* Comprehensive evaluation and feedback

The main objectives of this qualification are to

* Increase confidence when employers appoint Coaches, and to provide quality assurance for clients
* Offer coaches a confidential environment to share challenges with peers and tutors and bsc Executive Coaches
* Enable self-reflection and continual self-improvement
* Support for the CPD for professional coaches
