Executive Coaching Award

Candidates with three or more years of Coaching experience who do not wish to study for a formal qualification have the option of a British School of Coaching developed Executive Coaching Award.

The ability to demonstrate your Coaching contribution is crucial, and the Award is based on ten key criteria, which are rigorously assessed by bsc tutors and external verifiers. A practicing coach would be expected to complete this Award in four to six months.

This programme includes

  • One to one suitability assessment with an experienced bsc tutor, to measure readiness for the programme
  • Reflective practice based on a minimum of 12 hours Executive Coaching over three years
  • Attendance at a one day seminar and action learning centre focussing on industry best practice
  • Completion of a research assignment reviewing how the practice of Executive Coaching is developing
  • The undertaking of a minimum of four supervised coaching sessions, which will be assessed to a maximum of two hours

The main objectives of this qualification are to

  • Gain industry recognition for your coaching skills which would otherwise go unrecorded
  • Receive constructive feedback about your coaching style and skills
  • Increase your awareness of the ever-changing Coaching industry
  • Ensure your coaching style has measurable results for clients
  • Review your Coaching career path with experienced and qualified Executive Coaches
