Qualifications & Credit Framework
The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) is the new government framework which sets out how all regulated vocational qualifications are structured, titled and quality assured. It’s replaced the existing National Qualifications Framework across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The QCF is already up and running.
ILM Vocationally Related Qualifications (VRQs) are part of QCF, applicable in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, providing successful candidates with transferable qualification credit. The table below illustrates these levels against the traditional academic qualifications.
