Why choose BSC?
British School of Coaching (BSC) is an established provider of professional coaching, mentoring and supervision training. We offer ILM coaching and mentoring qualifications alongside specialist CPD programmes. These support coaches, mentors, managers and leaders at different stages of their professional development.
Our approach is practical, supportive and grounded in professional practice. Effective learning comes from building knowledge and having opportunities to practise, reflect and receive feedback. Our experienced faculty are practising coaches, mentors and supervisors who continue to develop their own professional practice. Throughout the year, the faculty come together to learn, share ideas and strengthen the quality of our programmes.
We are particularly proud of the support our learners receive. Personal tutors work alongside learners throughout their qualification, offering guidance, encouragement and constructive challenge. In addition, learners have access to webinars, support sessions, coaching supervision, networking events and continuing professional development opportunities.
Our purpose
Our purpose is to develop confident, capable and ethical coaches and mentors who can make a positive difference to individuals, teams and organisations.

Where are we?
BSC works with individuals and organisations across the UK and internationally, including Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
We deliver programmes online and face-to-face. This allows us to work flexibly with individual learners, open cohorts and organisations looking for tailored coaching and mentoring development.
The way we do things
Our core values of respect, integrity, professionalism, confidentiality and quality guide our work.
We aim to create a learning environment where people feel supported and appropriately challenged. Our faculty bring professional experience, practical coaching expertise and a strong commitment to learner development. We also believe in going the extra mile to support learners and create programmes that are interactive, reflective and relevant to real coaching and mentoring practice.
Professional development does not end when a qualification is completed. Through our wider CPD, supervision and networking opportunities, we encourage learners and graduates to continue developing their skills, thinking and professional confidence.
Our Commitment to Quality
BSC is committed to maintaining high standards across our qualifications, recognised programmes and professional development activities.
Robust quality assurance processes and experienced faculty support our programmes. We regularly review learner feedback, professional practice and developments within the coaching and mentoring profession. As a result, our programmes remain relevant, current and effective.
